2nd Annual Korean Liberation Festival: Celebrating 78 yeras of Korean liberation

Last weekend, we celebrated 78 years of Korean liberation by partnering up with MAUM Market once agian to bring you our 2nd Annual Korean Liberation Festival!

Hosted on the largest rooftop in North America at Ten Ten Downtown, we had 2 days of so many meaningful activities for everybody to enjoy!

From live entertainment and traditional Korean dance team performances to an Asian makers’ marketplace with over 50 local small business vendors, it was jam packed weekend of festivities for everybody to enjoy.

Our beverage bar featured the largest collectin of Korean-owned alcoholic & non-alcoholic complimentary sampling which complimented the food from Korean-owned business’ perfectly.

And of course this year we included an interactive kids corner with hands-on educational craft activities, informational booths to learn more about Korean-oriented nonprofits, and even awesome giveaways, mini korean flags for celebration and more!

10% of all ticket sales went to support KYCC LA, a leading nonprofit in Koreatown, serving shildres and families.

Bringing Cultures Together Through Paebaek

Paebaeks are a tradition of unification between families in the Korean culture, symbolizing the husbands family accepting the wife into theirs.

It was the perfect way for this couple, coming from different backgrounds, to celebrate their love.

Its so refreshing to how two families are coming together to begin their new journey through a traditional yet modern paebaek.

MAUM + LLC: 2nd Annual Korean Liberation Festival

Last year we teamed up with MAUM to bring you our 1st Ever Korean Liberation Festival celebrating the Korean Independence day through an explosion of Korean culture through small business vendors, special guests and more! This year, we’re back to coproducing the 2nd Annual Korean Liberation Festival with MAUM again!

From food, to drinks (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic), performances, and shopping, we had tons of things to check out and do with your entire family!

Taking place agian on the largest rooftop in North America at TENTEN Downtown, this year it will be a 2 day festival of music, arts, food, drinks, entertainment, crafts and more to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Korean Liberation Day.
