A lovely Backyard Wedding in Ojai, California

Joyce and Miles had a lovely backyard wedding in Ojai, California at Miles’ parents olive ranch. The Regalo Olive Oil Ranch is filled with beautiful olive trees that add a naturally divine scent to the area. This ranch is where Miles’ family grows and produces delicious boutique olive oil, and each guest was given a bottle as a wedding party favor. Joyce and Miles took wedding photos in the orange grove nearby, giving each of their photos a beautiful and natural backdrop. The night ended with fun and laughter by the fire pit and delicious tasting s’mores.

Backyard weddings have a more sentimental feel to them. They’re more intimate and heartfelt because they take place at a home that has special significance to the bride and groom. A backyard wedding means truly feeling right at home. 

Joyce and Miles are a very sweet couple. Not once did Miles take his eyes off Joyce the entire day. Their love for one another was deeply felt by everyone present, as they exchanged their heartfelt wedding vows. Our live.love.create team had the best time planning this special day for Joyce and Miles. A Beautiful Wedding at Villa del Sol d'Oro in Sierra Madre, California

Jessica and David’s beautiful wedding at Villa del Sol d’Oro in Sierra Madre was a picture perfect day. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Jessica and David exchanged wedding vows on a lovely landscape overlooking a small pond and dozens of gorgeous pine trees. The venue's architectural structure resembles that of an Italian villa, inspiring a classic style. The bride wore a simple, yet elegant long sleeve white wedding dress designed by Connie Tao, along with a pair of gorgeous beige Jimmy Choo shoes. The bridesmaids each wore different designed dresses uniquely customized to their likings. The different dress colors meshed together perfectly, standing out beautifully amongst the green landscape. 

The use of gold and white colors at the reception matched perfectly with the rustic gold color of the venue and the pink satin material intertwined within the chairs of the bride and groom was the perfect pop of color. Our live.love.create team had a wonderful time planning Jessica and David’s beautiful wedding at Villa del Sol d’Oro. Our team wishes them a lifetime of happiness and love.

At Home Engagement Photoshoot in Los Angeles, California

How are you? Hope you’re staying safe at home…

We are a month into shelter at home from the pandemic caused by Covid-19. So many of those that just got engaged during the holidays should have been taking their spring engagement photoshoots now! We have the occasional windy and gloomy days here and there but things have been clearing up. The clouds seem bluer these days and the sun is out to play. What perfect weather to shoot outside.

However, harsh reality is that we shouldn’t be outside let alone come into contact with anyone outside our household. So what now?

Have you thought about taking engagement photos in your own home? How about capturing the real you with your loved one in real life settings. Photos by the beach or hillside next to blooms are certainly beautiful but so is the moment when the two of you are just being yourselves in your own bed.

I had the luxury of having a friend capture our home engagement photos when my husband and I got married a few years ago. However, I feel we are all tech savvy enough to take a few shots with our phones if we don’t have the 3rd person to aim and shoot for us.

Maybe just give it a try as your pre-engagement shoot. Could be something fun to do while we’re staying home…
