A Sweet and Simple Wedding at the Millwick in Los Angeles, California

College is one of the best times in a young adult's life, and we made some of our closest friends then, including Cathy!  Cat & Phil met in college themselves, became close friends, dated around each other, until finally post-college, Phil realized he needed to have Cat as more than just a friend.  Since then, we've all spent many weekends together singing karaoke, finding the best donuts in LA, and grabbing late night eats.  Fast forward years later, the couple had a sweet & simple wedding at the Millwick in Downtown Los Angeles.

We love how you can feel their fun, casual and bright personalities come through in their photos by Mark Brooke!  Even the photographers couldn't get enough of Cathy's DIY doe and deer masks.  (Side note: It is SO IMPORTANT to find a photographer that matches your aesthetic and vibe!)

Los Angeles Public Library Wedding in Downtown Los Angeles, California

We love planning weddings for friends who've enlisted our help, but when the couples we meet end up becoming our friends, that's a whole new life experience!  Of course, we had the benefit of sharing mutual close friends, so the fun and laughter with these two was bound to come naturally.  Despite the stress of planning from Paris, they put it all together for a gorgeous day!  Wishing we could see them more often, but maybe we'll come visit in London?!
