A botanical wedding is perfect anytime of the year, especially in Southern California. The natural green plants make for lovely decor and create a beautiful scenic backdrop perfect for any wedding. The venue’s design is inspired by an urban jungle oasis, perfect for a botanical wedding.
Sandra and Larry are the ultimate hip couple. Their extreme friendliness and vibrant energies made planning their wedding that much more fun and exciting! Our live.love.create team first met Larry when he was DJing at a wedding we were planning. Larry continued DJing at a few more of our weddings, and overtime he became a dear friend to our team. When he shared the news of his engagement and asked if our team could plan his upcoming wedding, we of course said yes!
Before the wedding ceremony began, Larry and Sandra had a special “first look” moment. They each got on two separate elevators with a #1 and a #2 sign painted on the doors. As the elevator doors opened, they stepped out to get their first looks of one another. We absolutely love how beautiful and unique this moment was!
The coolest part about Sandra and Larry’s wedding was how much time and effort they spent handcrafting special keepsake items. Sandra had a custom made light blue jean jacket with a white “Mrs. Sun” sign written in cursive on the back. The dinner napkins for the reception were handmade by Sandra’s mom. She added fun facts about the bride and groom detailing how they met, their favorite activity to do together, and a silly “When Larry Met Sandy” hashtag down at the bottom.
Each guest had a unique gold custom cut out name piece that was placed at every seat. A gold “You’re the Sun in my Morning Babe” sign was hung against a rustic bric wall giving us all the feels. They had an ice cream stand outside with three uniquely named flavors. But the most special and intimate part of the entire evening was the video Larry made for Sandra. He put together video clips of Sandra dancing as a baby and had it playing on the projector screen throughout the night as everyone danced! This wedding day was truly a beautiful and heartening representation of Larry and Sandra’s everlasting love.
Our live.love.create team had such a wonderful time making Larry and Sandra’s dream wedding a reality. We wish them a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness!
