Tips For Your Wedding From A Wedding Planner (As Featured on @brides)

July 11, 2022 Christine S. Chang

Recently Christine was interviewed to be featured on Brides Instagram stories, as an up and coming vendor to look out for! In this feature, Christine shared some photos and information about traditional weddings of different cultures which she tries to bring awareness about and answered a few popular questions that newly engaged couples might have:

Q: What are the pros and cons of having a small wedding?
A: The biggest pro is that its very intimate and you can spend more time with your closest friends and family. The biggest con is that you cant invite everybody you like so you have to be cutthroat about your short guestlist.

Q: What should I do after picking my wedding date and venue?
A: Hire a planner if you haven’t done so yet. It can save you so much money and time to help you not make mistakes that you have to fix later. Next is to hire your photographer!

Thank you to @Brides for this feature and opportunity to share a few tips!

A Luxe K-Drama Wedding Ceremony & C-Drama “Shanghai Nights” Lunar New Year Reception
about a week ago

A sparkling K-drama inspired ceremony bathed in golden hour light gave way to a Shanghai Nights reception straight out of Crazy Rich Asians. Crystal chandeliers shimmered above lush blooms, a Chinese apothecary escort wall honored tradition, and lion dancers welcomed guests into a haze-filled celebration of culture and class. From a custom dragon lantern shipped from China to a bespoke Hong Kong–inspired bar and Double Happiness wedding cake, every detail was an immersive tribute to heritage — perfectly timed for Lunar New Year.
