A Holiday Party To Celebrate...You!

January 3, 2023 Christine S. Chang

We recently helped put together a holiday party for photographer David Suh, which turned out to be a memorable amazing night celebrating the beautiful people around us.

Starting from a small studio is Northern California and working his way up to fame through social media, David is known to be a “pose guru” photographer who focuses on empowering yourself (the client) on and off camera through your inner beauty regardless of external appearances.

This year he wanted to host a holiday party inviting his past clients to come together to reconnect and “Celebrate Yourself”, the theme of the night. He wanted everybody to have a glamorous moment with a red carpet wall and a photowall for other clients to write affirmations for each other.

David encouraged people to get more in touch with their own identity. For David, it was focusing on who he was as a Korean-American. He wanted to bring more awareness of Asian founded/POC businesses around him so we helped make that happen, finding Asian American/POC founded brands to work with for the night. The drinks were sourced from all Asian brands and Korean food was served for the night as well. Even hiring our founder, Christine, was because she was a Korean American herself who did more than just traditional western weddings, by bringing light to traditional Asian cultrual weddings as well.

At the end of the night, all guests were even gifted a self care kit, sponsored by Asian founded brands. Cheers to a truely amazing successful night!

Jennie knew Christine since college and hired her to plan everything for this wedding remotely. The couple hired all local vendors in order to support women in small business’. All the asthetics of the wedding were more intimate from gifted wedding table numbers to a ring tray with their court date wedding engraved, gifted to them by her best friend Felicia.

Jennie and Jamie met on a social media dating community and hit it off right away. She had a great voice and he had musical talent. On their first date, he picked up a guitar and they just both started singing! They were a perfect match and the two showed their talent during the wedding as well.
