Recently our CEO and founder Christine Chang attended the movie premiere of her upcomming movie, ‘The Wedding Hustler’. Accompanied by her husband and family, she made her first debut into the acting world on the big screen.
In the premiere, Christine shares how the movie was about bringing together the Asian American community by using an all Asian American cast and the great chemistry everybody had with each other on and off screen. Even though this was Christine’s first acting gig, she had such a good comfy vibe with all cast that the rest came naturally.
This movie is about a groom who creates a surprise wedding for his fiancé with the help of the "Wedding Hustler” aka Christine Chang. In the movie, Christine Chang is an Asian American wedding planner who knows her "thang" on bargaining the best price for any event. When she learns about a couple who rescheduled their wedding three times because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she decides to help the groom surprise his fiancé with the perfect wedding. With barely any money, the groom and the planner navigate through the street vendors of Los Angeles to piece together the wedding of his fiancé's dreams. The very cool part of this is that Christine actually did do their real life wedding prior to the movie as well which inspired the storyline of ‘The Wedding Hustler’.
‘The Wedding Hustler’ will be in select theatres in January 2023 and available on Amazon Prime on February 10, 2023.
