Christine was originally hired by Emma’s mom Carol, for both Emma’s 100 day Baekil photoshoot and Emma’s first birthday.

But later Carol decided to do a celebration instead of a styled shoot for Emma’s first birthday. With just 3 weeks to plan, Christine was able to create a perfect pink themed first birthday for Emma.

Working with a planner, especially for quick turn events, has its benefits regardless of the size of the event. Because of the relationships planners have with the vendors, its easier to get those last minute requests and needs taken care of.

Korean First 100 Days Baekil to the First Birthday Dohl Time Capsule

Christopher and Tiffany came to Christine when their son, Warren, was only about 1.5 months old to talk about his baekil. A baekil is a celebration of the first 100 days of life for a new born baby and an important milestone in the Korean culture.

Christine met with Warren’s parents over coffee in DTLA and connected on the hardships and challenges of being a new parent. But also indulged in the love they share for their babies as well. By the end of our coffee chat, Warrens parents decided they wanted to put together a time capsule of Warren’s first year with the help of Christine.

They worked together to style Warren’s baekil and months later his dohl which would both be documented in photo and video.

Its amazing to see how much the little guy has grown from 100 days to his first year! So much more memories to come.

Summer Rooftop Wedding in DTLA

For this rooftop wedding, the bride and groom chose to get married in DTLA because its where they met exactly 5 years ago. She lived in NYC and he lived in LA. They never thought a long distance relationship would work out but here we are celebrating their beautiful marriage 5 years later in the same city they met at.

The couple spent time curating a wedding that played homage to both their cultures. They hired a mariachi band and a had a fun DJ that played both great Latin and American pop oldies.

This couple also decided to write their own vows to each other. What was amazing is that their vows were so in-sync that it seemed like they were reading the same vows to each other! But their vows were written separately and it was the first time hearing each others vows. Truly a perfect match.

A perfect summer wedding for this perfect couple.
